The Pasadena Project is in active creation, and subsequently, our serving officers are pending election. We encourage you to consider applying if any of these positions are of interest to you!
Officer Elections are held every 2 years.
President
The kind of leader we believe in.
The President of The Pasadena Project is more than a title—they’re the heartbeat of our mission and the driving force behind our momentum. We’re looking for someone who is unapologetically community-first, deeply connected to Pasadena’s neighborhoods, and unafraid to challenge outdated systems with fresh ideas and modern tools.
This person thrives at the intersection of purpose and progress. They understand how to rally people, build partnerships, and lead from the front—while still rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. They’re tech-savvy, transparent, forward-thinking, and energized by action. No red tape. No gatekeeping. Just impact.
They don’t just talk about change—they build it, brick by brick, event by event, conversation by conversation. They see leadership not as control, but as service: a commitment to listening, organizing, and making space for the next generation of changemakers to lead alongside them.
If you’re the kind of person who can see both the big picture and the ground game—and you’re ready to lead Pasadena into its next chapter—you might just be the President, we’re looking for.
Vice President
The right hand, the momentum builder.
The Vice President of The Pasadena Project is the ultimate amplifier—someone who turns ideas into action and supports the team at every level. They’re collaborative, committed, and ready to keep the engine running smoothly behind the scenes and out in the community.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in motion—planning, organizing, coordinating, and helping bring our vision to life with precision and energy. They’re community-minded, tech-friendly, and eager to lead when needed, but just as happy to support where it counts.
If the President is the spark, the Vice President keeps the fire going. They’re adaptable, reliable, and always ready to step in and keep things moving forward.
Secretary
The organizer, the communicator, the record keeper of our movement.
The Secretary of The Pasadena Project is the backbone of our organization’s structure. They’re the kind of person who knows what’s happening, when it’s happening, and who needs to be in the loop. From managing meeting minutes and documentation to ensuring clear communication between board members and the broader community, they keep the wheels turning and the chaos in check.
We’re looking for someone who’s detail-driven but not afraid to think big—someone who can balance spreadsheets and schedules while staying connected to the heart of our mission. They value transparency, organization, and consistency, and they know how to keep a fast-moving team grounded in the details that matter.
If you’re the type who loves a good checklist, thrives on follow-through, and believes that clarity creates trust—this is your role.
Treasurer
The strategist behind the numbers.
The Treasurer of The Pasadena Project isn’t just here to crunch numbers—they’re here to make sure every dollar fuels something meaningful. This role is about stewardship, strategy, and building a financial foundation strong enough to carry bold ideas forward.
We’re looking for someone who’s financially savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about using budgets as blueprints for impact. They’ll manage our funds with transparency and integrity, track donations, help with grant planning, and keep the board informed so we can make smart, sustainable decisions.
This person sees financial reports not as red tape, but as a roadmap for change. They understand that strong communities need strong systems—and they’re ready to build both.
